Quick Start

Get up and running with AI Interview Engine in less than 5 minutes. This guide will walk you through creating your first interview campaign.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • An InterviewRelay account (sign up here)
  • A verified email address
  • Basic understanding of your use case (customer research, HR screening, etc.)

New to InterviewRelay?

InterviewRelay enables you to conduct voice-to-voice AI interviews at scale. Perfect for customer research, HR screening, academic studies, and more.

Step 1: Create Your First Project

Projects help you organize related interview campaigns.

  1. Navigate to your Dashboard
  2. Click New Project
  3. Enter a name (e.g., "Customer Feedback Q4 2024")
  4. Click Create

Step 2: Design Your Interview Script

The script defines what questions your AI interviewer will ask.

  1. Click Scripts in the sidebar
  2. Click New Script
  3. Choose a template or start from scratch
  4. Add your questions and follow-up prompts
  5. Click Save Draft

Pro Tip

Start with a template! We have pre-built scripts for common use cases like customer discovery, product feedback, and candidate screening.

Step 3: Create a Campaign

Campaigns let you send interview invites to multiple participants.

  1. Navigate to Campaigns
  2. Click New Campaign
  3. Select your published script
  4. Add participant email addresses
  5. Customize the invite message
  6. Click Launch Campaign

Step 4: Monitor Responses

Track interview completion in real-time.

  • View live sessions from the Sessions page
  • Download transcripts as they complete
  • Export data to CSV or PDF
  • Set up webhooks for real-time notifications
